Refund Policy:
Refunds are given when classes are cancelled by the TAG Center. Memberships are non-refundable.
Credit Policy:
Absence from a class does not reduce the cost of operating programs. For this reason, any unavoidable absence does not result in a credit, or a make-up class. Credits are for unused portions of the class fee and will be issued when there is a medical release. Credit is good for 6-months.
Returned Check/Bank Draft:
Returned checks and bank drafts will be assessed a $30 processing fee for any insufficient funds.
Mission Statement:
The TAG Center enhances the quality of life for all residents of Mayville and the surrounding area by providing a central gathering place in which to pursue recreational, social, and educational interests. It is a defining structure and serves as a focal point for the community. The Center will reflect the attributes of excellence shown by its Founders and will contribute to the sense of community pride.
Member Check-In:
All members are required to check-in at the Member Service Desk before entering. Members are responsible to lock and secure their personal items. The TAG Center is not responsible for any personal items that are lost or stolen. Please wear clean, indoor shoes.
Fair Share Statement:
Mayville residents make a significant contribution to the operation of the Parks and Recreation Department. City property taxes are a source of funds necessary to operate the Department. Regardless of the level of use, each city property owner contributes equally. The Fair Share concept is intended to apportion to non-residents an equalized fee designed to recover costs.
Notice to participants:
The City of Mayville is committed to providing safe facilities and activities, and qualified instructors. Please recognize however, that activities described in this brochure may involve some risk. It is our policy, in the event of serious injury or illness, to contact Mayville paramedics by calling 911.

Handicapped Accessible:
The TAG Center is handicap accessible. An elevator is available for persons with special needs to gain access to the second floor.
Registration:
Open to all individuals. Some classes have maximums and all classes have minimums. Payment is required at the time of registration. We reserve the right to combine, change, or cancel classes. Late registration will result in a $5 late fee. Please register by posted dates to ensure the class you want will run.
Member Service Desk:
The Desk is where you register for classes, sign-up for memberships, receive program information and verify your membership daily for entrance into the facility.
M-F 6:00 am-6:00 pm.
Babysitting:
Sitter service is available free of charge Monday through Friday from 8:00 - 11:00 am and Monday-Thursday nights from 5:30-7:30 pm. This service is for children who are walking through 8 years of age, and whose parent is participating in a program at the TAG Center. Donations accepted, summer hours vary.
Lost & Found:
Items must be claimed in person. Every 30-days, unclaimed items are given to a local charity. The TAG Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please secure your personal items.
Photo Disclaimer:
Registrants and participants of programs and special events permit the TAG Center to take photos and videos of themselves and their children for publication in the program brochure, web site, and additional uses as the TAG Center deems necessary unless the registrant or participant expressively files with the TAG Center a written objection as to photos or videos of themselves and/or their children.
Brochure Changes/Errors Disclaimer:
Due to the large amount of information available in the TAG Center's brochure, errors before and after publication may occur. We apologize for any errors in this brochure, and we will advise you of any changes as quickly as possible. We will also attempt to keep information on our website, www.mayvillecity.com/tag as current as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding when these situations occur.
Locker Rental:
A limited number of lockers are available to rent on a minimum of a one month basis. Lockers are available for $5 month/$60 for one year.
Warning of Risk:
Recreational activities/programs are intended to challenge and engage the physical, mental, and emotional resources of each participant. Despite careful and proper preparation, instruction, medical advice, conditioning and equipment, there is still a risk of serious injury when participating in any recreational activity/program. Understandably, not all hazards and and dangers can be forseen. Depending on the particular activity, participants must understand that certain risks, dangers, and injuries due to inclement weather, slipping, falling, poor skill level or conditioning, carelessness, horseplay, unsportsmanlike conduct, and all other circumstances inherent to indoor and outdoor recreational activities/programs exist. In this regard, it must be recognized that it is impossible for the TAG Center to guarantee absolute safety.
INSTRUCTORS WANTED:
Are you interested in teaching an exercise class at the TAG Center? Interested in a class the TAG Center does not offer? If you have the proper qualifications, experience, and certifications please join our team and become a TAG Center Exercise Instructor. Pay based on qualifications & experience. Please contact Mike Kurutz, TAG Center Manager.
Class Cancellation/ Inclement Weather Policy:
The decision to cancel a class due to inclement weather or instructor sickness will be made before the start of each class. Cancellation of one class does not automatically cancel all classes that follow. No refunds or credits will be issued due to cancellation for inclement weather or instructor sickness. There will be no makeup dates or cancelled classes because of weather or illness.
Smoking
The TAG Center, including spectator/viewing areas are designated as non-smoking areas. Thank you!
Code of Conduct
The TAG Center is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all members and guests. We ask individuals to follow all rules and act with respect and responsibility in our facility and program areas. Our code of conduct does not permit any language or action that can threaten or injure another person, or that falls below a generally accepted standard of conduct. Specifically this includes:
Inappropriate attire for the activity.
Angry or vulgar language, swearing, name calling, shouting.
Physical contact with another person in any angry or threatening way.
Any demonstration of sexual activity or sexual contact with another person.
Harassment or intimidation by words, gestures, body language, or other behavior.
Theft or behavior that results in the destruction of property.
Carrying or concealing any weapon or objects that may be used as a weapon.
Using or possessing illegal chemicals or alcohol on TAG property or program areas.
We ask members and guests to report any incidents or problems to the staff supervisor on duty. Members and guests who are not following these guidelines may be asked to leave the TAG Center or program area by the staff supervisor on duty. If you are asked to leave the TAG Center, you may not return until you speak with a professional staff person who will determine the length of membership suspension.
Membership Eligibility
Any person who supports the purpose may become a member of this facility in accordance with such provisions as may be established by the City of Mayville, and shall so continue to be a member unless the Park Board or its authorized agent concludes, in its sole discretion, that a member has failed to live up to the standards and commitments of being a member of the TAG Center.
